As the Executive Director, Tanya provides overall management of the accreditation, certification, credentialing, governance, operational, and financial areas of the organization, promotes the organization across the profession of architecture and accreditation, and is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors (ex-officio).  Prior to joining NAAB in 2019, Tanya spent 10 years with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) in a variety of roles, notably as their Chief Accreditation Officer and the Chief Operating Officer of the AAMFT Foundation. Earlier in her career, she served as Manager of Education for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis.

Matt Stillman

As Director of Global Programs, Matt provides leadership, development, and day-to-day management for the global programs team. He oversees the Educational Evaluation Services for Architects (EESA) and International Certification (ICert) programs. Prior to joining NAAB in 2025, Matt spent over 25 years in higher education administration, with leadership responsibilities in international programs, assessment/accreditation, enrollment management, registration/records, institutional research, and admissions. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Higher Education from the University of Nebraska, a Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Southern Oregon University.

As the Director of Operations, David supports the executive office and the day-to-day matters related to the financial, administrative, human resources, communications, and governance activities of the organization. Prior to joining NAAB in 2018, David worked as an architectural designer for six years at firms in Philadelphia and served on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Architecture Students, the National Architectural Accrediting Board, and AIA Philadelphia. He holds a NAAB-Accredited, Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University.

As the Manager of Accreditation, Amanda serves as a resource to program administrators and visiting team volunteers to review materials, coordinate logistics, and guide them through every stage of the accreditation process. Prior to joining NAAB in 2025, Amanda spent over a decade in higher education, having served Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, most recently as Assistant Dean. In that role, she oversaw student services, collaborated with academic leadership, and supported operational planning and process improvements to enhance student outcomes. She holds a Ph.D. in Geography and a Master’s in Anthropology from Kent State and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Interprofessional Leadership where her dissertation research focuses on using data-informed strategies to help students successfully navigate their architecture education.

As the Manager of Accreditation, Robin's primary focus is on developing innovative and effective training for programs and volunteers and managing the development and implementation of NAAB’s accreditation management system. Robin has led and supported accreditation, regulatory, and assessment and quality improvement initiatives in a range of postsecondary, nonprofit, and human services settings since 2007. Prior to joining NAAB in 2024, she provided institutional and programmatic accreditation and regulatory oversight as Director of Accreditation at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, as Accreditation and Certification Manager at Goodwill-Easter Seals, and as Accreditation Specialist with Capella University. She holds a PhD in American Studies from the University of Minnesota and lives in Saint Paul, MN.

As the Accreditation Specialist, Melissa supports the entire accreditation process, including providing guidance to programs and volunteers in the preparation, logistics, management, and documentation of self-study, accreditation visits, and maintenance of accreditation activities. Prior to joining NAAB in 2024, Melissa served as a faculty member and an academic department chair, responsible for the operational facets of departmental management, such as strategic planning, personnel management, program assessment, policy development, and curriculum development. She also has extensive experience in student coaching and developing strategic content for social campaigns. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production Management, a Master of Science in Consumer Affairs, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrated Textiles and Apparel Design, all from Auburn University in Auburn, AL.

As the Manager of Global Programs, Winter supports the Global Programs department, supporting Education Evaluation Services for Architects (EESA) and International Certification (ICert). Prior to joining NAAB in 2025, Winter served as a primary Implementation Lead for a major student information system conversion. Her prior positions include Registration Systems Analyst, Academic Scheduling Coordinator, and Lead Enrollment Services Associate. Winter holds a B.A. in Humanities and Spanish (with minors in Linguistics and English) from California State University Chico.

As the Global Programs Coordinator, Billy supports the Manager and Director of the Global Programs department in making sure the Education Evaluation Services for Architects (EESA) and International Certification (ICert) programs run smoothly. Prior to joining NAAB in 2025, Billy served as a Team Lead and Operational Supervisor for a crisis hotline, where he managed daily operations, supervised staff and volunteers, and ensured quality assurance protocols. His diverse operations background also includes roles as a Quality Assurance and Validation Technician, complemented by his expertise in technology and customer service. Billy holds a B.A. in Mass Communication from Portland State University.

As the Manager of Operations, Kim supports the organization with matters related to financial, administrative, communications, and governance activities. Prior to joining NAAB in 2025, Kim spent many years in association management for various medical organizations, gaining skills in governance, event planning, and marketing. Kim holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, a B.A. in theatrical lighting design from Columbia College Chicago, and a B.A. in photography from Columbia College Chicago.
